The Usual Trench Crew plan: In general what happens, is that
the Trench Crew meets up on game day around noon at the Globe. Then
we head over to Teasers if there are any fans of the other team to
be found. We generally head over to the statium around 3:30pm for some
beers and
usually toss a football around. After the game
it is back to the Globe and again depending on the away fans, on to
Teasers.
Check our calendar for more
specifics on each particular game day! And you can always contact
us (through the feedback link above) to find out where we aim to
be.

About Hotel Internationaal:
This hotel is run by a friend of ours and (obviously) has a bar
attached. Quite a few Claymores' fans are staying in this hotel,
so for the game against the Scots (2003) we will be using the hotel
bar as our base of operations.
What: Pre and Post Game Parties for Visiting Claymores Fans
When: Friday 23rd (8:00pm) and
Saturday 24th of May (12:30pm and after the game)
Where: Hotel Internationaal Bar, Warmoesstraat 1-3
How to find the bar: From Centraal Station Cross the bridge, and the pub is on the corner of Warmoesstraat and Nieuwe Brug Straat.
They have their own website
with directions and pictures.

About the Globe: The Globe is a fairly cheap hotel with
a sports bar attached. It is located right in the center of
Amsterdam, five minutes walk from the central station and Teasers.
Because it is one of only two places that show live NFL matches in
Amsterdam (on a big screen in fact), we quickly adopteded it as our
home base quite a few years ago. Unless there is a big sporting
event on, the Globe is usually fairly quiet. It has become more and
more popular as a place to watch NFL matches and even on a regular
season Sunday night it is now usually quite packed with a pretty
good atmosphere. On Superbowl night Ross and I show up 6 hours in
advance to claim our personal seats. It is also a great place to
start off an NFL-Europe party evening, since spending an entire
night at Teasers is somewhat expensive! Better to start off quietly
with a few drinks at the Globe, have a meal there if you want
(decent, but nothing fancy) and then head on to better things.

About Teasers: Teasers is a fun place to hang out and
drink beer while being served by attractive women dressed somewhat
like cheerleaders. They are sexy, but nothing more! If you want
that, go to places in the red light district across the canal. This
means that female visitors are certainly not rare in Teasers. Be
warned, drinks are expensive! Especially the famous body shot (
€ 25 ), but it is certainly worth trying. After a good game
and with a few dozen away fans, the atmosphere really rocks at this
place. We had an especially good party when the Fire showed up last
year with three busloads of fans on the morning before the game. On
the other hand, when you are there with just two other Admirals'
fans, you will find yourself a bit lost.
Finding the Globe and Teasers: Both these places are easy to
find and located within 5 minutes of the central station. I made a
little map and scanned in an official map as well. (Please note
that Teasers is still indicated by it's old name of Hooters).
